Pitless weighbridge are regular full-length weighbridges with RCC foundation without construction of pit. It is suitable where excavation work for foundation is difficult or pit construction is expensive. As the platform is above the ground, ramps are provided on two sides and vehicles can approach the weighbridge from these two directions.
