In-motion Road Weighbridge System or Weigh in Motion (WIM) manufactured by Kunal Enterprises, Pune is designed to capture and record axle and gross weights as it drive over a platform placed across the concrete road. As the vehicle passes over the in-motion, load cells sense the load. The high-end electronics of the system coupled with advanced software captures samples and calculates the average & records it as axle weight. These are then added up to provide the gross weight of the truck. Weigh-in-motion WIM captures weight of trucks/trains on the move. The system reduces waiting times for vehicles. WIM improves logistics efficiency by reducing waiting. It prevents highway overloading WIM performs effective train monitoring at speeds up to 70 kmph.
