Silicone sheets offers useful combination of properties ranging from high-temperature performance, durability, abrasion resistance, high tear strength, electrical insulation as well as transparency. It retain their electro-metric properties at temperatures well beyond most other rubbers. They withstand continuous exposure at 200^o C. Excellent dielectric properties. High resistance to ozone oxygen and high intensity ultraviolet radiation.

Silicone sheets have characteristics of both inorganic and organic materials and offer a number of advantages not found in other organic rubber products. Silicone rubber have fine electrical properties, good chemical stability and flame retardancy and superior resistance to heat and cold.

Wide service temperature range - excellent thermal and therm-oxidative resistance
It offers excellent resistance to oxygen, ozone and sunlight. Parts made of silicone rubber when exposed to wind, rain, and UV rays for long periods will result in virtually no change in physical properties.
Silicone Rubber is a good resistant to electromagnetic and particle radiation (UV, alpha, beta and gamma rays). Unlike most organic rubbers, silicone rubber is not affected by ozone as well.

It remains flexible at extreme temperatures and can withstand temperatures in the range -50^oC to 350^oC depending on the duration of exposure.
