Pit Type Weighbridge

It is preferred at places which have limited space like non-hilly areas, remote areas where the construction cost there is low. Platform is made of concrete/rcc and casting is done at the site only. It requires lesser space as compated to pitless. It is a heavy duty system which can perform in the most adverse of conditions. It can perform non-stop for decades with easy maintenance. Pit construction is required and all the equipment and load cells are installed in the pit. Platform deck is at the ground level. Vehicles can approach from any side.
